THE PLOT:
It is a dark time for the world. Neo is trapped in the "Train Station", between the Matrix and the Source. Zion is doomed to be crushed under an unstoppable army of countless Sentinels. But it is not only the human race that is in peril. The machines press ever onward against the humans, unaware that one force within the Matrix has slowly been growing, and has taken over that world completely: Smith. There is only one hope for both races, the one force that can stop Smith, and that is Neo. One final battle must ensue. And the outcome of this battle will decide the fate and future of both races.

THE REVIEW:
Everything that has a beginning has an end....bull shit. The Matrix: Revolutions can be summed up in a few unkind words, phrases, and questions: rip-off, sucks, stupid, what the fuck?, that's it?, what happened to_____?, that can't be it.

Revolutions isn't the worst movie ever made, but it sure was the worst of the three Matrix movies. This film had its spectacular gun fights, its out of this world special effects, its kung-fu karate, and you can't forget its club/rave sequence which is present in all three of the films. Basically what the Wachowski’s have done here is nothing, they were lazy and consumed by 'machines' to create a film that will 'look' good and make 'money' and with that it succeeded by sucking away 50.2 million dollars from the movie-going audience in its opening weekend of release.

The film begins as per usual with black screen then turning into the now famous green symbols raining down from the top. I'm sure by now I don't have to explain who the characters are and what there all about, and I'm also sure I don't have to explain the whole story cause you all should know that. If you don't know what I’m talking about go to Rogers Video or Blockbuster and rent the previous two installments. If your too lazy to rents the films, all you need to know is that Keanu is 'the one' and he is the savior of the human race in the on-going battle against the machines and the Matrix is a program created by the machines for humans that are in comatose. Then Agent Smith (the villian) becomes some kind of virus that both the machines and the humans can't control and its up to Neo to stop him that eventually leads to the climatic brawl between these two super-powers...it goes something like that, I’m really not to sure what the hell its really about. I think I'm going go watch all the matrix movies again to better understand it all.

Revolutions was a really big disappointment to me, I kind of knew what they were trying to do, but it just didn't deliver. The Matrix was great movie, Reloaded was mediocre, but Revolutions was just a big pile of crap on a stick. It was a horrible way to end a trilogy. Revolutions did have its moment though, like the Matrix with its bullet-time, Reloaded with its Neo vs. thousands Agent Smith, Resolutions had an impressive battle sequence where the humans armed with these robots that looked as if they were stolen from the set of 'Aliens' against the sperm-looking machines, it also had a very ultra-cool final Showdown between Neo and Agent Smith that showcased rain drops turning into gigantic waves and a slow-mo punch that makes you feel the impact.

Revolutions just didn't answer anything for me, it just ended and that was that. It even left with questions and eluded to another sequel (which I don't think they will make). Why end a movie that is suppose to answer questions with a question?...this was a movie that had such a huge build up and just copped-out with an Hollywood ending (cue the music and fade into the sunlight) and for that I would like to stick up my middle finger at the Wachowski brothers and also applaud them for stealing my 10 bucks.
